How To Uninstall dcraw On Debian 9

To uninstall dcraw just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dcraw

decode raw digital camera imagesDebian 9.0graphics9.27-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove dcraw

This will remove just the dcraw package itself.

Uninstall dcraw and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dcraw

This will remove the dcraw package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dcraw then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dcraw

Or similarly, like this dcraw

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dcraw
