How To Uninstall dctrl-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall dctrl-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dctrl-tools

Command-line tools to process Debian package informationDebian 9.0utils2.24-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove dctrl-tools

This will remove just the dctrl-tools package itself.

Uninstall dctrl-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dctrl-tools

This will remove the dctrl-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dctrl-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dctrl-tools

Or similarly, like this dctrl-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dctrl-tools
