How To Uninstall ddate On Debian 9

To uninstall ddate just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ddate

convert Gregorian dates to Discordian datesDebian 9.0utils0.2.2-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove ddate

This will remove just the ddate package itself.

Uninstall ddate and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ddate

This will remove the ddate package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ddate then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ddate

Or similarly, like this ddate

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ddate
