How To Uninstall ddcci-dkms On Debian 9

To uninstall ddcci-dkms just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ddcci-dkms

DDC/CI driverDebian 9.0admin0.3.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ddcci-dkms

This will remove just the ddcci-dkms package itself.

Uninstall ddcci-dkms and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ddcci-dkms

This will remove the ddcci-dkms package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ddcci-dkms then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ddcci-dkms

Or similarly, like this ddcci-dkms

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ddcci-dkms
