How To Uninstall ddd On Debian 9

To uninstall ddd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ddd

The Data Display Debugger, a graphical debugger frontendDebian 9.0devel1:3.3.12-5.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove ddd

This will remove just the ddd package itself.

Uninstall ddd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ddd

This will remove the ddd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ddd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ddd

Or similarly, like this ddd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ddd
