How To Uninstall debarchiver On Debian 9

To uninstall debarchiver just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debarchiver

tool to handle Debian package archivesDebian 9.0devel0.11.0
sudo apt-get remove debarchiver

This will remove just the debarchiver package itself.

Uninstall debarchiver and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debarchiver

This will remove the debarchiver package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debarchiver then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debarchiver

Or similarly, like this debarchiver

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debarchiver
