How To Uninstall debdelta On Debian 9

To uninstall debdelta just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debdelta

diff and patch utilities which work with Debian packagesDebian 9.0devel0.59
sudo apt-get remove debdelta

This will remove just the debdelta package itself.

Uninstall debdelta and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debdelta

This will remove the debdelta package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debdelta then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debdelta

Or similarly, like this debdelta

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debdelta
