How To Uninstall debget On Debian 9

To uninstall debget just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debget

download/compile source and binary Debian packagesDebian 9.0utils1.6+nmu4
sudo apt-get remove debget

This will remove just the debget package itself.

Uninstall debget and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debget

This will remove the debget package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debget then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debget

Or similarly, like this debget

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debget
