How To Uninstall debian-builder On Debian 9

To uninstall debian-builder just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debian-builder

Rebuild Debian packages from source codeDebian 9.0admin1.8
sudo apt-get remove debian-builder

This will remove just the debian-builder package itself.

Uninstall debian-builder and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debian-builder

This will remove the debian-builder package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debian-builder then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debian-builder

Or similarly, like this debian-builder

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debian-builder
