How To Uninstall debian-cd On Debian 9

To uninstall debian-cd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debian-cd

Tools for building (Official) Debian CD setDebian 9.0admin3.1.20
sudo apt-get remove debian-cd

This will remove just the debian-cd package itself.

Uninstall debian-cd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debian-cd

This will remove the debian-cd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debian-cd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debian-cd

Or similarly, like this debian-cd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debian-cd
