How To Uninstall debian-installer On Debian 9

To uninstall debian-installer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debian-installer

sudo apt-get remove debian-installer

This will remove just the debian-installer package itself.

Uninstall debian-installer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debian-installer

This will remove the debian-installer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debian-installer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debian-installer

Or similarly, like this debian-installer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debian-installer
