How To Uninstall debootstick On Debian 9

To uninstall debootstick just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debootstick

Turn a chroot environment into a bootable imageDebian 9.0admin1.2
sudo apt-get remove debootstick

This will remove just the debootstick package itself.

Uninstall debootstick and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debootstick

This will remove the debootstick package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debootstick then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debootstick

Or similarly, like this debootstick

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debootstick
