How To Uninstall debtree On Debian 9

To uninstall debtree just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just debtree

package dependency graphs on steroidsDebian 9.0utils1.0.10+nmu1
sudo apt-get remove debtree

This will remove just the debtree package itself.

Uninstall debtree and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debtree

This will remove the debtree package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for debtree then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge debtree

Or similarly, like this debtree

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debtree
