How To Uninstall deja-dup On Debian 9

To uninstall deja-dup just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just deja-dup

Backup utilityDebian 9.0utils34.3-1
sudo apt-get remove deja-dup

This will remove just the deja-dup package itself.

Uninstall deja-dup and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove deja-dup

This will remove the deja-dup package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for deja-dup then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge deja-dup

Or similarly, like this deja-dup

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove deja-dup
