How To Uninstall deluge-torrent On Debian 9

To uninstall deluge-torrent just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just deluge-torrent

bittorrent client (gtk ui transitional package)Debian 9.0net1.3.13+git20161130.48cedf63-3
sudo apt-get remove deluge-torrent

This will remove just the deluge-torrent package itself.

Uninstall deluge-torrent and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove deluge-torrent

This will remove the deluge-torrent package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for deluge-torrent then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge deluge-torrent

Or similarly, like this deluge-torrent

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove deluge-torrent
