How To Uninstall deluge On Debian 9

To uninstall deluge just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just deluge

bittorrent client written in Python/PyGTKDebian 9.0net1.3.13+git20161130.48cedf63-3
sudo apt-get remove deluge

This will remove just the deluge package itself.

Uninstall deluge and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove deluge

This will remove the deluge package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for deluge then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge deluge

Or similarly, like this deluge

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove deluge
