How To Uninstall derivations On Debian 9

To uninstall derivations just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just derivations

bookDebian 9.0doc0.53.20120414-2
sudo apt-get remove derivations

This will remove just the derivations package itself.

Uninstall derivations and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove derivations

This will remove the derivations package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for derivations then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge derivations

Or similarly, like this derivations

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove derivations
