How To Uninstall desktopnova On Debian 9

To uninstall desktopnova just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just desktopnova

utility that changes the wallpaper automaticallyDebian 9.0misc0.8.1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove desktopnova

This will remove just the desktopnova package itself.

Uninstall desktopnova and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove desktopnova

This will remove the desktopnova package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for desktopnova then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge desktopnova

Or similarly, like this desktopnova

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove desktopnova
