How To Uninstall devhelp On Debian 9

To uninstall devhelp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just devhelp

GNOME developers help programDebian 9.0devel3.22.0-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove devhelp

This will remove just the devhelp package itself.

Uninstall devhelp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove devhelp

This will remove the devhelp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for devhelp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge devhelp

Or similarly, like this devhelp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove devhelp
