How To Uninstall devilspie On Debian 9

To uninstall devilspie just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just devilspie

find windows and perform actions on themDebian 9.0gnome0.23-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove devilspie

This will remove just the devilspie package itself.

Uninstall devilspie and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove devilspie

This will remove the devilspie package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for devilspie then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge devilspie

Or similarly, like this devilspie

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove devilspie
