How To Uninstall devio On Debian 9

To uninstall devio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just devio

correctly read (or write) a region of a block deviceDebian 9.0utils1.2-1.2+b1
sudo apt-get remove devio

This will remove just the devio package itself.

Uninstall devio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove devio

This will remove the devio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for devio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge devio

Or similarly, like this devio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove devio
