How To Uninstall dh-consoledata On Debian 9

To uninstall dh-consoledata just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dh-consoledata

debhelper-based script to help packaging console data filesDebian 9.0devel0.7.89
sudo apt-get remove dh-consoledata

This will remove just the dh-consoledata package itself.

Uninstall dh-consoledata and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dh-consoledata

This will remove the dh-consoledata package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dh-consoledata then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dh-consoledata

Or similarly, like this dh-consoledata

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dh-consoledata
