How To Uninstall dh-kpatches On Debian 9

To uninstall dh-kpatches just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dh-kpatches

Debhelper script to help packaging kernel patchesDebian 9.0devel0.99.36+nmu4
sudo apt-get remove dh-kpatches

This will remove just the dh-kpatches package itself.

Uninstall dh-kpatches and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dh-kpatches

This will remove the dh-kpatches package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dh-kpatches then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dh-kpatches

Or similarly, like this dh-kpatches

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dh-kpatches
