How To Uninstall dh-linktree On Debian 9

To uninstall dh-linktree just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dh-linktree

Create symlink trees within a Debian packageDebian 9.0devel0.4
sudo apt-get remove dh-linktree

This will remove just the dh-linktree package itself.

Uninstall dh-linktree and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dh-linktree

This will remove the dh-linktree package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dh-linktree then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dh-linktree

Or similarly, like this dh-linktree

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dh-linktree
