How To Uninstall dh-systemd On Debian 9

To uninstall dh-systemd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dh-systemd

debhelper add-on to handle systemd unit files - transitional packageDebian 9.0admin10.2.5
sudo apt-get remove dh-systemd

This will remove just the dh-systemd package itself.

Uninstall dh-systemd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dh-systemd

This will remove the dh-systemd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dh-systemd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dh-systemd

Or similarly, like this dh-systemd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dh-systemd
