How To Uninstall dhcp-helper On Debian 9

To uninstall dhcp-helper just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dhcp-helper

A DHCP relay agentDebian 9.0net1.2-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove dhcp-helper

This will remove just the dhcp-helper package itself.

Uninstall dhcp-helper and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dhcp-helper

This will remove the dhcp-helper package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dhcp-helper then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dhcp-helper

Or similarly, like this dhcp-helper

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dhcp-helper
