How To Uninstall dhcpcd-dbus On Debian 9

To uninstall dhcpcd-dbus just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dhcpcd-dbus

DBus bindings for dhcpcdDebian 9.0net0.6.0-1.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove dhcpcd-dbus

This will remove just the dhcpcd-dbus package itself.

Uninstall dhcpcd-dbus and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dhcpcd-dbus

This will remove the dhcpcd-dbus package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dhcpcd-dbus then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dhcpcd-dbus

Or similarly, like this dhcpcd-dbus

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dhcpcd-dbus
