How To Uninstall dhcpcd-gtk On Debian 9

To uninstall dhcpcd-gtk just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dhcpcd-gtk

GTK+ frontend for dhcpcd and wpa_supplicantDebian 9.0net0.6.0-1.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove dhcpcd-gtk

This will remove just the dhcpcd-gtk package itself.

Uninstall dhcpcd-gtk and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dhcpcd-gtk

This will remove the dhcpcd-gtk package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dhcpcd-gtk then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dhcpcd-gtk

Or similarly, like this dhcpcd-gtk

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dhcpcd-gtk
