How To Uninstall dhcping On Debian 9

To uninstall dhcping just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dhcping

DHCP Daemon Ping ProgramDebian 9.0admin1.2-4.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove dhcping

This will remove just the dhcping package itself.

Uninstall dhcping and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dhcping

This will remove the dhcping package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dhcping then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dhcping

Or similarly, like this dhcping

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dhcping
