How To Uninstall dialign-tx-data On Debian 9

To uninstall dialign-tx-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dialign-tx-data

Segment-based multiple sequence alignment (data files)Debian 9.0science1.0.2-9
sudo apt-get remove dialign-tx-data

This will remove just the dialign-tx-data package itself.

Uninstall dialign-tx-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dialign-tx-data

This will remove the dialign-tx-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dialign-tx-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dialign-tx-data

Or similarly, like this dialign-tx-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dialign-tx-data
