How To Uninstall dico-module-mediawiki On Debian 9

To uninstall dico-module-mediawiki just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dico-module-mediawiki

RFC 2229 compliant modular dictionary server (mediawiki module)Debian 9.0text2.3-2
sudo apt-get remove dico-module-mediawiki

This will remove just the dico-module-mediawiki package itself.

Uninstall dico-module-mediawiki and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dico-module-mediawiki

This will remove the dico-module-mediawiki package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dico-module-mediawiki then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dico-module-mediawiki

Or similarly, like this dico-module-mediawiki

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dico-module-mediawiki
