How To Uninstall dico On Debian 9

To uninstall dico just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dico

RFC 2229 compliant dictionary clientDebian 9.0text2.3-2
sudo apt-get remove dico

This will remove just the dico package itself.

Uninstall dico and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dico

This will remove the dico package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dico then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dico

Or similarly, like this dico

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dico
