How To Uninstall dicod On Debian 9

To uninstall dicod just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dicod

RFC 2229 compliant modular dictionary serverDebian 9.0text2.3-2
sudo apt-get remove dicod

This will remove just the dicod package itself.

Uninstall dicod and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dicod

This will remove the dicod package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dicod then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dicod

Or similarly, like this dicod

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dicod
