How To Uninstall dict-foldoc On Debian 9

To uninstall dict-foldoc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dict-foldoc

FOLDOC dictionary databaseDebian 9.0text20170105-1
sudo apt-get remove dict-foldoc

This will remove just the dict-foldoc package itself.

Uninstall dict-foldoc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dict-foldoc

This will remove the dict-foldoc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dict-foldoc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dict-foldoc

Or similarly, like this dict-foldoc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dict-foldoc
