To uninstall dict-gazetteer2k just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dict-gazetteer2k

Placeholder package to install entire Gazetteer 2000Debian 9.0text1.0.0-5.3
sudo apt-get remove dict-gazetteer2k

This will remove just the dict-gazetteer2k package itself.

Uninstall dict-gazetteer2k and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dict-gazetteer2k

This will remove the dict-gazetteer2k package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dict-gazetteer2k then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dict-gazetteer2k

Or similarly, like this dict-gazetteer2k

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dict-gazetteer2k
