How To Uninstall dict-jargon On Debian 9

To uninstall dict-jargon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dict-jargon

dict package for The Jargon LexiconDebian 9.0text4.4.7-3
sudo apt-get remove dict-jargon

This will remove just the dict-jargon package itself.

Uninstall dict-jargon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dict-jargon

This will remove the dict-jargon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dict-jargon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dict-jargon

Or similarly, like this dict-jargon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dict-jargon
