How To Uninstall diction On Debian 9

To uninstall diction just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just diction

Utilities to help with style and diction (English and German)Debian 9.0text1.11-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove diction

This will remove just the diction package itself.

Uninstall diction and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove diction

This will remove the diction package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for diction then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge diction

Or similarly, like this diction

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove diction
