How To Uninstall dictzip On Debian 9

To uninstall dictzip just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dictzip

compression utility for dictionary databasesDebian 9.0text1.12.1+dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove dictzip

This will remove just the dictzip package itself.

Uninstall dictzip and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dictzip

This will remove the dictzip package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dictzip then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dictzip

Or similarly, like this dictzip

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dictzip
