How To Uninstall didjvu On Debian 9

To uninstall didjvu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just didjvu

DjVu encoder with foreground/background separationDebian 9.0graphics0.8.1-1
sudo apt-get remove didjvu

This will remove just the didjvu package itself.

Uninstall didjvu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove didjvu

This will remove the didjvu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for didjvu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge didjvu

Or similarly, like this didjvu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove didjvu
