How To Uninstall digikam-private-libs On Debian 9

To uninstall digikam-private-libs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just digikam-private-libs

private libraries for digiKam and kipi pluginsDebian 9.0libs4:5.3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove digikam-private-libs

This will remove just the digikam-private-libs package itself.

Uninstall digikam-private-libs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove digikam-private-libs

This will remove the digikam-private-libs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for digikam-private-libs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge digikam-private-libs

Or similarly, like this digikam-private-libs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove digikam-private-libs
