How To Uninstall digikam On Debian 9

To uninstall digikam just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just digikam

digital photo management application for KDEDebian 9.0graphics4:5.3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove digikam

This will remove just the digikam package itself.

Uninstall digikam and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove digikam

This will remove the digikam package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for digikam then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge digikam

Or similarly, like this digikam

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove digikam
