How To Uninstall diod On Debian 9

To uninstall diod just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just diod

I/O forwarding server for 9PDebian 9.0admin1.0.24-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove diod

This will remove just the diod package itself.

Uninstall diod and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove diod

This will remove the diod package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for diod then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge diod

Or similarly, like this diod

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove diod
