How To Uninstall dmtracedump On Debian 9

To uninstall dmtracedump just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dmtracedump

Java method trace dump toolDebian 9.0devel7.0.0+r33-1
sudo apt-get remove dmtracedump

This will remove just the dmtracedump package itself.

Uninstall dmtracedump and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dmtracedump

This will remove the dmtracedump package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dmtracedump then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dmtracedump

Or similarly, like this dmtracedump

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dmtracedump
