How To Uninstall e2tools On Debian 9

To uninstall e2tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just e2tools

utilities for manipulating files in an ext2/ext3 filesystemDebian 9.0misc0.0.16-6.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove e2tools

This will remove just the e2tools package itself.

Uninstall e2tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove e2tools

This will remove the e2tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for e2tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge e2tools

Or similarly, like this e2tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove e2tools
