How To Uninstall ebhttpd On Debian 9

To uninstall ebhttpd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ebhttpd

specialized HTTP server to access CD-ROM booksDebian 9.0httpd1:1.0.dfsg.1-4.3+b2
sudo apt-get remove ebhttpd

This will remove just the ebhttpd package itself.

Uninstall ebhttpd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ebhttpd

This will remove the ebhttpd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ebhttpd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ebhttpd

Or similarly, like this ebhttpd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ebhttpd
