How To Uninstall ebumeter On Debian 9

To uninstall ebumeter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ebumeter

Loudness measurement according to EBU-R128Debian 9.0sound0.4.0-3
sudo apt-get remove ebumeter

This will remove just the ebumeter package itself.

Uninstall ebumeter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ebumeter

This will remove the ebumeter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ebumeter then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ebumeter

Or similarly, like this ebumeter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ebumeter
