How To Uninstall eclipse-pydev-data On Debian 9

To uninstall eclipse-pydev-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eclipse-pydev-data

Python IDE for Eclipse (data)Debian 9.0devel3.9.2-5
sudo apt-get remove eclipse-pydev-data

This will remove just the eclipse-pydev-data package itself.

Uninstall eclipse-pydev-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eclipse-pydev-data

This will remove the eclipse-pydev-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eclipse-pydev-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eclipse-pydev-data

Or similarly, like this eclipse-pydev-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eclipse-pydev-data
