How To Uninstall eclipse-wtp-servertools On Debian 9

To uninstall eclipse-wtp-servertools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eclipse-wtp-servertools

Eclipse WTP server toolsDebian 9.0devel3.6.3-3
sudo apt-get remove eclipse-wtp-servertools

This will remove just the eclipse-wtp-servertools package itself.

Uninstall eclipse-wtp-servertools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eclipse-wtp-servertools

This will remove the eclipse-wtp-servertools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eclipse-wtp-servertools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eclipse-wtp-servertools

Or similarly, like this eclipse-wtp-servertools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eclipse-wtp-servertools
