How To Uninstall ecryptfs-utils-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall ecryptfs-utils-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ecryptfs-utils-dbg

ecryptfs cryptographic filesystem (utilities; debug)Debian 9.0debug111-4
sudo apt-get remove ecryptfs-utils-dbg

This will remove just the ecryptfs-utils-dbg package itself.

Uninstall ecryptfs-utils-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ecryptfs-utils-dbg

This will remove the ecryptfs-utils-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ecryptfs-utils-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ecryptfs-utils-dbg

Or similarly, like this ecryptfs-utils-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ecryptfs-utils-dbg
