How To Uninstall edb On Debian 9

To uninstall edb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just edb

database program for GNU EmacsDebian 9.0lisp1.31-3
sudo apt-get remove edb

This will remove just the edb package itself.

Uninstall edb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove edb

This will remove the edb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for edb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge edb

Or similarly, like this edb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove edb
